What are you naturally good at?

Music. I can pick up almost any instrument without really trying. I have guitar, bass, piano, drums, trombone, trumpet, tuna, euphonium, and various others.
All things sport. I'm just one of them people that can pick up any sport and be good at it in a short amount of time e.g. anything from tennis, golf, football (soccer for you heathens), to karting, snooker + pool
Bass guitar. I can play most bass lines by ear.. I dont really need to pactice, it just feels like I am "talking" or painting with sounds. Hard to describe.. I really love playing though and it is quite cathartic.
Imitating people's voices, doing cartoon voices, funny foreign accents. For years I thought everybody could do that, and just weren't as afraid of embarrassing themselves as I was.
Annoying people by succeeding at school without putting the effort in. I noticed during university as they would act a bit spiteful when grades were brought up. Now they joke about how far I would go if I applied myself. To bad I'm lazy as Fuck.
Learning to play video games. Somewhat useless as far as life skills go, especially because my ceiling for skill that much above average. But I love it when a new game comes out so I can play online and figure out all the best tactics before anyone else.
I remember when Monday Night Combat came out, I loved that game, but my friends and I were pretty much unbeatable. I ended up getting #1 on the leaderboards for a little while, it’s an amazing feeling that is just impossible to get with older games.
Adapting to any environment, from playing games, sports, social event, academics, work environment, etc. Can fit into any situation and survive. A chameleon if you will. Not trying to boast, it's just a life skill that I try to harness and develop.
For example: a while back I was visiting my hometown and was calling up a good friend that I had not seen in a while. I could immedielty tell that something was bothering him just by the way he said "Hello" when answering the phone. I asked him is he was okay and he told me something to the effect of, "Not my wife, not my brother, sister or my kids could tell that I've been depressed these past few days but within seconds you called me out on it man." and we had a chat about what was getting to him. I can also tell when people are done talking to me, so needless to say I can tell pretty good when it time for me to shut up and let them go.
I've had friends ask me for recommendations in cities I haven't been to in five or ten years. If I can't remember the location of the place I'm recommending off the top of my head, I can go to google maps, find a spot I know I visited, and retrace my steps back to any point in my trip. Even for cities I've only been to for a day, 10 years ago.

Do you think online payments have made us less thrifty with our finances? How do we engage in sustainable spending habits?

AisyahIsHere2’s Profile PhotoAisyahpotated
It has with me.
With direct deposit debit cards and online spending it's like magic money.
You never see any of the actual cash. Maybe the fact of not seeing physical cash and just paying a button hasn’t helped. They make me much more paranoid, therefore I'm far less likely to buy things online. I'm not willing to give away my debit card information to random sites.
I think it could if you're not very disciplined with money in the first place.
I do everything online but I try to keep up with my balance.
No, I don't think it's any different.

What do you believe is a good indicator of someone’s intelligence?

How much they talk and how much they just sit back observe. My younger sister unlike me doesn't talk much at all, never has. She knows four to five languages though, has a master's degree, and looks at every situation objectively based on facts. She's somewhat emotionally volatile but her emotions don't cloud her judgement. The only time she won't use her judgement is when she's doing something just to get me off her back. She's a lot like our who is a very successful businessman. Most people would think he's going to harm them and cross the street b/c he stands 6'6" but the reality is he's a man of very few words although a speaker of 6 languages and an observer who let's his very outspoken wife (where I got my traits from) do most of the talking. He's too busy acquiring lucrative projects, reading books, and playing chess with his equally quiet daughter for fun if he can get her to come near him. Neither brags about accomplishments. They just are what they are. When I was younger and got blamed for something I would very vocally defend myself I was told that the one who protests the loudest is usually wrong and the one who is saying nothing knows they're in the right so let's that speak for itself.
I'd say originality. Everything stems from an influence of some kind but the ability to create something new and original is intrinsic intelligence in its purest form.

What do you believe is a good indicator of someone’s intelligence? Be creative.

I think it might be kindness.
It seems to me that all of the smart people that I know are very kind and understanding. Being level headed.
The problem with measuring intelligence is that it is such a squishy word. What does it really mean? For me personally I measure intelligence by someone's capacity for showing the ability to learn. Knowledge is one thing, you can know about a lot of stuff without really being intelligent. But being able to learn from those around you, both socially and intellectually is rare. It is the ability to throw out what you know when provided with evidence that what you thought was right is wrong. Changing one's mind based on evidence and fact is to me the truest form of intelligence.
I suffer from social anxiety and I can't always express my ideas clearly, so I guess I would have to say no to that. Although, I think society as a whole would consider someone that can confidently express their ideas clearly as being more intelligent than someone who cannot. I just like to see some evidence that someone has put some thought into what they are saying and has some reasoning to support their opinions. Also, just the ability to listen to and consider the opinions of others. I would never judge someone's intelligence upon a first meeting. There are people that I have known for years that seem to become more intelligent in my eyes the more I get to know them.
I don't think there is really a "true" and complete measure of intelligence. As someone who majors in mathematics in university, it's a subject that I have thought about and struggled with throughout my undergrad; seeing some colleagues pick up topics in pure mathematics that take me hours and hours of rigorous study to understand, being able to score A's on tests with what seems like no effort. But some of those are also people who completely lack social intelligence, can't formulate an essay, etc etc.
Initially, I probably judge someone based on their capacity to have a thoughtful conversation. I will consider them intellectual if they are willing to discuss interesting subjects and are open to the opinions of others. If a question is asked and they don't know the answer or if they are unfamiliar with a subject, I will not consider them unintelligent. I will only consider them unintelligent if they are completely unwilling to explore the topic or learn from others.
Their ability to think many steps ahead of the given situation;
Their understanding of the precedence behind occuring events;
Their readiness to strive, survive & thrive - come what may.
They actually love it and are grateful when their opinion is changed.
