Hey Krishna, great work on the 'A Conversation' and 'In the morning'. Wondering, if you can share the making of 'In the morning', or maybe just a few post production techniques or effects that you might've used. Cheers and keep up the experimentation.

Thank you so much! In brief, I shot the actors in front of a blue screen (it was actually a narrow blue door) and then chroma keyed them onto an image of a Hopper painting (from which I Photoshopped out the people he'd painted). Over this, I added a canvas texture. And also, I adjusted the color of the footage I shot to match the background.
I dunno, is that what you meant? :)

What is your source of inspiration?

Inspiration is everywhere. Film and filmmakers I love, things I've lived through, my family, my friends. Not in that order at all. No one source.

Your favourire 10 movies

My answers will be different everyday, but a few titles will pop up in all of them: "The Wizard of Oz," "King Kong," "Pinocchio," "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," "Plan 9 From Outer Space"... I dunno. I love movies. I love so many movies. Hard question.

I was on your twitter page the other day.came across one of your twets which said you have lost most of your hearing in one ear.is it true.because I too have hearing loss of higher frequencies in both ears.and I aspire to be a film critic.am roger eberts fan too.thing I loved most about roger(it was

My ears are fine now. It was a build up of wax that had reduced my hearing, partly because I used earphones too much. Being a cinephile, filmmaker and occasional "composer," I need to be able to listen to stuff. I've found that I can use headphones extensively without any problems.

What angers you the most?

Hypocrisy, especially in myself. And people with blunt pencils. And communication gaps. Yep, communication gaps really get to me.

Glen or Glenda was great as well! Orgy of the Dead just seemed like Manos the hands of fate met the skeleton in Linda Lovelace's closet. Have you seen what was really Tim Burton's last biopic titled, Ed Wood? One of Johnny Depp's most inspired performances.

I love "Ed Wood." One of Burton's best films; it really gets the passion and honesty of Wood--of course, I didn't know Wood, but I'd like to think he was something like Depp's version.

Haha, we've all been there. It's the worst when you don't realize how juvenile your ID really is because it's not something you really think about; and then suddenly you're 16, someone asks you your ID and you go.. 'blaziken123.. oh shit.'

I've come to embrace "krishna_niceguy," actually. It sounds self-aware and subversive (ssh, don't say anything to the contrary and ruin this for me).

How much did Youtube pay u 4 the 1 mil+ views in your gravity/superman vid??

Actually the video now has 5 million views, but I've seen no money grow out of it. I can't monetize my "Gravity"-"Superman" mash up because of copyright reasons, so all the money from those five million views is going somewhere else.

PS: I'd love to help in any new project of yours in any way that I can! Cheers

Thanks again, but who are you? E-mail me: krishna_niceguy@hotmail.com
P.S.: I will take no help from you if you laugh at my juvenile e-mail ID.
