Ignore the person, and tell others around you the truth. Unfortunately, engaging with the liar is the attention they want, but ignore them the rumor will fade away when the truth gets out. You can't help what strangers believe but those that know you will know the truth and spread the truth as you go on with your life. (I had to do this with a liar trying to start drama).

To ignore bullies because that will make them stop. It only made it worse for me because they kept tormenting me to the point trash was thrown at me and they cornered me one day on my bus.

Have you had any funny incidents with animals? Like when a deft monkey in a zoo ate your ice cream or when you were chased by an aggressive goat?
I went on a school trip to a safari park where you can ride through the park and feed the animals. I fed the camels some food, but wanted to save the rest for the others so I put the bucket in my lap and turned my back to the side of the vehicle we were in. Well, the camels decided to chew on my hair and my shirt cause they wanted more, lol. My friend had to rescue me from their nibbling. I still laugh remember that day.
