I drink tea or milk with honey, or try to do something to distract myself for as long as I overthink. When I'm sleepy enough after that I usually go back to bed. I don't pressure myself to sleep if am not able to.

Why is it better to accept that you are bad than to think that you are good?

Because the first gives room to think that it is still good in us although we are not perfect. While believing you are a good person on the other hand lets you easily forget that you have your flaws as well, that you're basically a perfect human being - which leads to arrogant thinking and is in itself an ugly personality trait.

I'd stick with a "friend" more than I have should because I rather believed in the idea of their personality than to look at the red flags that were given to me. Because I really felt that the person could be good at heart, I really wanted to believe in that. Just that it didn't turn out that way.
