It's certainly a weakness for those who avoid growing/maturing as a person. Kindness is one of the things that make us human. I wouldn't want to live in a world where people take advantage of each other's kindness. When you be lucky enough to meet someone with narcissistic traits you'll be grateful for every other reliable friendship that you already maintained. Because believe me, your trust in humanity will be totally shattered.
And about your first question, people stop being kind when they get hurt by people close to them or when, as I said before, your kindness is taken for granted or taken advantage of.

I just ask my better half. XD She is absolutely a god gamer. Doesn't even need to know a game well, every time I have a problem in no matter what game she just plays it for about two minutes or so and solves everything. Damn Genius.
Usually, I don't like to watch or play scary movies or games alone, so I always ask my partner to accompany me in this.
The scariest movie for me was probably "The Grudge" I watched it several times and scared myself to de.ath.
The scariest game I don't know...probably "Fear" or "D.ead Space".

I'm about to create the prototype for my first game. The prototype is only a text adventure so far, but my project partner and I want to create a 2D Sidescroller, a Choice-based game. To some people e.g. in business, it is not advised to be honest about your flaws as well. You need to sell yourself like a product at times, to get a job. That's why. In some cases, it's more about money and not sincerity.
