Being empathic is a nice character trait I got. But it also brought me in a lot of difficult situations that I couldn't let go of because I desperately wanted to help where I wasn't allowed to. And that sh*t hurts when you're close to someone.

No, I wouldn't say so. Isn't it just precious to be happy about small things in life? Like...just having some time to rest for yourself, to be yourself, to let your thoughts just wander around?
Maybe it's is lazy as well. But it is also being grateful for small things in life.

…when being disrespectful to those below their position, but very charming to those above them

…when someone can't be responsible for actions the person did, and it's always this person who is victim, it's never themselves who did something hurtful

My buzz-word is self care! I can't overstate how important it is. Everytime my mood dips I can link it back to a lack of self care or not enforcing my own boundaries. I enjoy helping others but it isn't one way - I get to feel good about helping and I learn a lot from people too :-)

When in your life did someone's criticism go too far?

When it becomes personal. Criticism should be both, positive and negative - so neutral that you personally know what you do good and what you could improve in. Many people forget that. They think it's only negative. But when it becomes personal it's no criticism, it's bullying.
Sometimes when it happened to me, I couldn't respect my supervisor anymore. I stopped caring what they think of me, I reduce communicating on the most basic things, only to get the information I need for the job. I won't disrespect someone back because I wouldn't be any better then them, but I keep my distance of people who feel privileged to hurt others regardless if they are above my actual position in business or not.

I am proud of my voice and art-skills so far. I'm good at all kind of creative things and trained myself to come that far, so that's why I am proud of them. Furthermore, I am happy to be empathic with myself and with others but still have troubleties in communicating with people who arn't. :) So that's that. ~
