If you break a leg you visit the doctor.
If your mind becomes sick, you seek a psychologist/psychiatrist.
That being said, I believe many people underestimate illnesses that are not visibly seen.
So, if you haven't studied mental illness you can't possibly know how to deal with it on your own. I would recommend everyone with symptoms of depression seek out people that they trust and talk with them about it. Let yourself be helped. If there is no person, that one can seek out to, one should search online for a local helpline, usually, there is an anonymous hotline for people, with severe mental illnesses that is free to use.

Yes, people with depression notice and feel they are loved by someone. The problem with depression is that they can't love themselves.
And that's okay if they have at least one person they can be themselves with and be accepted and loved for - even if they can't do it by themselves.

If the person is able to reflect upon their own behaviour and then act upon their words and change this type of behaviour in a positive direction, then I will happily forget and forgive what happened.
But if the person tries to trick me once or twice with empty words and I will probably not forget and certainly not forgive. x'D Because that's manipulation.

I believe every generation is kind of disappointed about the next one which causes the next generation to feel misunderstood by the generation before them.
We have to break this toxic cycle.
For instance what I do like about Gen Z is that they are totally shaking up the job market, in a way that they don't undersell themselves and have some values that are not for debate for them. Which is damn strong. I heard that some people mock them for being extra....but you know... I think that's confident and I think they can change our business market for the better.

I regret that I had people-pleasing tendencies with people close to me. I reflected on it and I deeply regret to allowed other people to overstep my boundaries in order for them to stay in my life.
What I seek are relationships/friendships that are safe and reassuring because my style of communication is avoidant/ or anxious.
What I can't handle are people with the same kind of communication style because that makes me feel responsible for the connection to work.
