They only matter to me when I am emerged in the story.
In Life is strange for example I was really eager to explore every part of the story and to take everything with me because the story fascinated me that much. But if the story does not hook me I also don't try to hunt all of the achievements. And yeah I also completed games 100% when I loved them.

A person who never believes they are good but a person who never stops trying to be good. To live by their moral compass. Because a person who believes he/she is already someone stops trying to improve themselves.

I don't think it's fair to say that about everyone.
I think there is certainly such kind of people, that you are talking about. And I also believe they are called: Narcissists. XD But I don't think that everyone naturally believes they are (always) in the right.
And the reason why narcissists believe they are always right is that it's easier to run away from your responsibilities and point your finger at someone else than to look in the mirror and tell yourself that your actions or words actually hurt someone seriously. That way you don't have to reflect on yourself and your self-worth gets a boost by putting the guilt in another place.

Is overthinking the reason you waste time?

I think there are different reasons why I waste time. Overthinking does not really occur often in the daytime but rather when I try to sleep and then there is always this loop of negative thoughts consisting of negative memories, self-doubts and personal fears.
I always feel that I wasted time on people, who weren't meant for me. Like the time and effort, I put into them just to realize it's not worth the hassle. Because nothing good has to be and to feel so hard. Like really guys...spend your time wisely, love yourself enough to know when to leave.
