You watch some WWE wrestling, right? Where do i get started? All the enthusiasm for this has me eager to give it a shot. Should I go back and watch earlier stuff first?

I find it easiest to watch along with someone who already knows what's up. Get them to recommend a good storyline or rivalry, and watch along 3-4 key matches with them in the run up to a new match relevant to that plot.
I personally find NXT most accessible, it's their training ground for new characters. Characters tend to not stay there too long meaning storylines going on there are usually short enough to catch up on, and you see some really weird wacky silly stuff being tried. From there, if a character progresses up to the main roster, that's your in to start watching WWE proper etc.

So I just got a referal to a GIC, but the appointment won't be for at least a year. How long did the initial stages of transition take for you? How long till HRT? Bonus question: Do you ever get tired of being, I guess, a "trans ambassador"? I notice you get a lot of questions on the subject.

I had a nightmare time personally. I had six month wait for a mental health assessment appointment, a year waiting for a GIC appointment, it turned out the GIC never recieved my paperwork properly so back to the mental health service, another 8 month wait for my first GIC appointment (Which I turned up for, only to be told was cancelled with another month to wait for a replacement), almost a years wait for my second appointment where I got prescribed hormones (at the wrong dosages, not fixed until my follow up almost a year after that).
I didn't go into things planning to talk so much about being trans, but by virtue of becoming visible it just sort of happened. It's often draining, with people expecting a great deal of personal and emotional labour from me often for googleable queries, but I'm just gload to help when and where I am able.

How do I convince somebody of their own worth?

You unfortunately can't force someone to see their own worth, it's usually something that has to be lead by the person with the low self worth, in my experience at least.

Any thoughts on Colin Moriarty leaving Kinda Funny?

Honest opinion, he was always my least enjoyed element of that team. His political opinions clashed a bit wildly with mine, which is fine, but the way he then went about debating his political beliefs was a bit abbrasive for my tastes. Not what I was looking for from pop culture video coverage.
He's doubtless going to be sucessful, politics was clearly aloways his passion more than video games, and he's going to make a decent living writing don't tread on me style political writings.

So I'm writing a story that features a trans character who's not open about being trans and thus it never comes up in the narrative. How do I depict that character's choice to not bring it up in conversation whilst avoiding turning into JK Rowling insisting "no really Dumbledore was totally gay"?

Mention it publicly either in marketing material or pre release to avoid being accused of slotting it in after for the kudos.

as an aspiring trans girl, I'm really jealous of your voice! it sounds effortless and lovely. don't guess you have any tips for somebody who sounds like a cross between james earl jones and bill clinton ?

Honestly, Vocal training was 99% of why I started podcasting and podcast editing. I forced myself to record myself, listen back during editing, and just practice little by little, week by week. The more times I was put on the spot to try, the easier it became.

I started listening to MCR and loving them, do you have any suggestions for other music I should try? Love you Laura! <3

My recent new love is a band called The Front Bottoms, give them a try.

What happened to all of your old podcasts (ONVG, TGNI, CVG)?

Oh No! Video Games we had a nightmare time getting hosts together at the same time, particularly when one host got a new job working lots of evenings.
TGNI we had scheduling conflicts that caused one podcast member to leave in frustration, and another stopped turning up due to depression.
CVG died when Patrick Dane went over to work at Bleeding Cool and no longer had the time in his schedule.

What is your favorite thing that looks like a butt (but is not a butt)?

Probably peaches due to how common they are.

Why did you verify your account?

I didn't, Twitter verified my account. For journo purposes it helps, lends credibility to times I break stories as a verified source.
