Sounds nice! 😄 Just finished a seminar and am gonna start working on my exam as soon as I get the questions for it Haha Other than that I'm gonna try and squeeze in a game night with the dorm mates and play badminton with the swimmers like I usually do. Also some trips to the gym and pool 😊

Hey Juan, in my native language (Dutch) I don’t have an accent or dialect. When I speak English, I can sometimes sound a bit Dutch lol.

You mentioned that there is something that you simply don't like about Marvel movies. Do you feel the same way about DC movies?

Hi Stephen, for me DC movies are even worse. 😅
I think it’s the green screens and the special effects I just don’t like.
I also think that the DC stories are somewhat boring. I haven’t given many a try, but when I did I just wasn’t feeling engaged. 😅

Minimize screen time and let your children be bored sometimes! It boosts creativity and lengthens their focus span.
It’s okay to be bored. Don’t overstimulate your children by lots of (hyper) screen time.

Do you like watching movies produced by Marvel producers? For example, have you watched Avengers Infinity War? If you watched this movie, did you like it and which of the actors did you like?

I liked the movie, but there is something about Marvel movies I just don’t really like and I can’t describe it.
I would watch the movies, I’ve watched most of them, but I do not really enjoy them.
I can’t really remember much from Infinity War other than the end, so I cannot really tell what actors I liked. I always like the Spider-Man actors though.

No, I sleep with my pajamas on, but I ‘get dressed’ for the day, meaning I change from pajamas to my every day or lounge clothes.

How traditional would you say you are?

Hmm it’s hard to tell because the original Dutch traditions and culture haven’t really been around since about 1900.
I hold on to the traditions we sort of have though:
celebrating Kings Day: the birthday of the king. On this day everybody can set up a spot and sell some of their junk. It’s like a huge flee market all over the country. There are also festivals and it’s normal to dress in orange. 🧡
Kids do ‘Kings Play’ which is basically a sports day at school. Where they do an estafette with different activities.
Memorial day: 2 minutes of silence on the 4th of May, to remember those who died in the second world war.
Day of Freedom: 5th of May: celebrating that The Netherlands wasn’t occupied by the Germans anymore.
Then we have a bunch of Christian celebrations as traditional, like Easter and Christmas. I do not really celebrate it since I’m not a Christian, but we sort of have our own twist.
