Ask @MahDryBread:

Hey man, sure you are bored of hearing from me but anyways lol Do you still have a pony tail ? and also can I do a request for a lets play of age of empires 2 ? I loved that game lol

Well you can see it in all of my streams, but yeah I still sometimes have my hair up in a pony tail. Depends on if I want my hair up or not. I'm not really that into Age of Empires 2. It was fun, but I'm mostly an Age of Empires 3 guy.

Hey, MDB. I watched your how you do you let's play videos and I recently started using dxtory. I did some test recording (some lag spikes happens for about a couple of seconds) but when I try to view my footage, it the video's black and it's not playing. What should I do?

The same person who asked this later said they fixed it, but I thought I'd answer this for anyone else who is wondering.
A lot of video players don't like the codecs that Dxtory uses. VLC player is very much guilty of this, where as the regular windows media player tends to work. Most importantly though your editor of choice will probably see the footage just fine.

These shoutout channels advertise that their shoutout sunday series is a fast way to earn "active subs" yet a lot of the winners I've seen also host their own shoutout series. They say that they shoutout "underrated channels" yet I've seen a channel with only one video posted that's three months old

Oh, those. You mean the ones that literally use bots who use messages they make to auto-spam thousands of channels. Yeah they constantly go to my spam folder. My favourite was the guy with his bullshit "Cool video bro by the way watch my videos, subscribe, comment on all of them, and you might get a shout out" thing. Yeah, scumbags.
Those channels have absolutely no standards and breed horrible communities. The shout outs they do DO NOT even remotely boost your channel.

Hey, MDB! Just wondering but how old is your computer?

That's not an easy question to answer. Every part of it is a different age. I built it, so naturally I never really get new computers, I just replace individual parts that I need to upgrade.
I first built this computer when I was 17 or 18, so about 6 or 7 years ago but the only components of it that have never been replaced are the power supply and the case itself.

I watched your The Guild:Renaissance tutorial and got it and now am watching your Sims 4. I'm not really a gamer, as I only really started playing the sims this past year. Anyway, I am dying to add you and Tripp to my game as townies, please tell me you have them on the gallery?

Mack Yuma
I actually don't know how to add them to the gallery, but I'd be more than happy to do that once I figure it out. Would I just upload them to an online server and you can search them by name, or do I add you on Origin and send them to you?

Hello once again, MahDryBread! I've got a question for YouTube. Can you offer a little advice on creating a good name for a channel? I started April of this year and currently almost done with my road to 20 subs, haha. Also I want to pass along the advice to my friend who will start a channel soon.

Joshua Tan
I don't really have any advice that you wouldn't find to just be common sense for that. Have it be something unique, don't let it just be "Cloud2545" or something like that, and don't put anything like "Productions" or "Studio" in the name. It's lame and everyone associates it with skit channels in of high schoolers.

Well, if i create a youtube channel, and a video already up, it has 10k views, and the question is, where they send me the money?

Well, 10K worth of views probably won't generate enough money to get over the threshold of when YouTube would actually send it out, but if it hypothetically did, they'd send it to wherever you have your address set to in Adsense.

Hey I just watched your video about making money off of youtube, I have been really considering starting a channel and I have been playing minecraft for 5 years so I really think I can put out creative content. I am investing in a expensive gaming PC to record videos. Do you ha e any advice for me?

First, Minecraft is really oversaturated on YouTube so it will be very difficult to start a new channel based on that. By all means do Minecraft on your channel, but you'll probably want to play some other stuff on there too.
Maybe play some more obscure games that you grew up with on the side. Anyone can talk about a game, but you talking about your history with a game is something unique to you. That's something that people can only see on your channel. Plus, it let's people get to know you, so when people find you through those more obscure games, they might stick around and check out your Minecraft stuff and find that they enjoy that.

Haven't you promoted G2A on your streams before?

I've promoted my G2A links while giving full context of what they are in the past, and then removed them after it came out that some people scam indy developers by pretending to be press, asking for press copies of games, and then selling the keys.
I said that until G2A cracks down on that, I won't be using G2A Goldmine links because I don't want to risk profiting off of stolen keys.
For clarification though, that's not what a sponsorship is. That's literally just a program that anyone can join. You just make an account for that. There was no contact between me and G2A, you sign nothing, and it's as easy as making an account. Same thing as Amazon affiliate links.
