Instead you should've asked, what is the purpose of our life?
It was Dalai Lama who said that our prime purpose in life is to help others, and I happen to agree with him. By helping one another, by sharing our love, kindness, and compassion with those around us, we connect with the truth of who we are, with the truth of who everyone else is. And in this process of helping, sharing, loving and connecting, we discover that even though on the surface we might all look very different from one another, at the core level we are all the same, we are all ONE, connected with one another in a very deep and powerful way. We are essentially the same members of one human race. There is no separation except the separation we create in our minds because of our many attachments to fear. Our prime purpose in life is to help others, to enrich each other’s lives – by being good and kind.
