My system is very long and boring, but in fact, after I did it once, I never need to go back to it again. I'll give an example from the series "The 100".
I download all seasons (1090 with 5/1 sound), after that I go to the Freemake converter and make some cuts.
For "The 100" I have a lot of them, and they are divided into: common throughout the series, Clarke, Octavia (+ Bellamy), Bellark, Murphy and all his branches and relationships. These are all different folders in total. For example, general for the series. I go through each episode and cut the frames, voices, etc. I need. And so all the seasons. After that I also do it with Clarke, I only cut everything that I might need with her. After I cut up all that already takes a long time. But if I remember the series well, then everything is much faster.
After I go to Premiere and in the Clarke project, for example, I create folders: Clarke voices, Clarke frames, Bellark voices and Bellark frames. And after that I do the cuts in the program itself. I cut each phrase and frame. I sign all phrases with subtitles.
And as a result, this project is with me for centuries. And as soon as I suddenly wanted to make a video, then I do not need to re-watch the series, it is very easy for me to find everything in the project itself and all that remains is to make a video.
Perhaps it's easier for me to show how it looks in the program itself.
