What are your thoughts on the Tokyo Ghoul anime?
I do enjoy the show and i've watched both seasons multiple times but I think a lot could have been done to improve the narrative especially in season 2. I understand that it's very hard to live up to the manga because Ishida is an absolutely amazing writer but I think there's a lack of effort put into the script. I'm not going to mention the dub at all because that's a whole other issue I have.
Aside from that it's animated quite well and the soundtrack is beautiful + the finale of season 2 was one of the most emotional things i've ever experienced

Can I ask why you like Attack On Titan so much when you had a lot of issues with it originally?
I'm always very critical of anime series when I first watch them anyway and if you've followed me for awhile you'll know that Naruto is one of my all time favourite series but I still mention a lot of criticisms I have with it.
Don't think i've ever actively disliked Attack On Titan because that's not the case at all but when I first watched it I was definitely overly critical mainly because it had such a reputation but when I decided to start the manga and I realised how brilliant Isayama is as a writer I went back and rewatched the series and really enjoyed it. I still have some issues with both the manga and anime but I think a lot of my issues came from the reputation the show had. Anime series are nearly never perfect and there's only 2/3 that I can think of that are almost flawless so it's not solely an issue i've had with Attack On Titan.
