what do you look for in a girl>?

This is kind of hard to answer; relationships are honestly new to me so I guess I just haven't figured out entirely what I'm looking for, but these all seem like they're fairly honest answers if I stop and look inward.
If I had to think about it in broad terms, the things that I find attractive include a strong sense of self, a good sense of humor, and having something that you love and want to share with others. I've already mentioned physical features that I find attractive - go back through my old answers for that stuff. Having similar interests/philosophies is obviously a big plus, though I wouldn't expect to agree on everything with a partner (the degrees to which I'm willing to concede a difference of opinion varies by topic), and in fact would almost prefer NOT to be completely alike - it seems to me that the broadening of horizons from different viewpoints is part of what makes a relationship worth having in the first place.

Who is your idol and why?

I don't think there's anyone I explicitly idolize - I don't find it productive to look at someone and say "I want to emulate that person". There are people whose presence in my life always challenges me to be a better person, though, and I value those people very highly.

If you could make one change to the Magic community, what would it be?

Ban Islands. :P
Honestly, the biggest change I'd like to make is to stamp out the bizarre classism that exists, particularly in the middle ranks of players - it's roughly correspondent with the "Levine Trench" ( http://www.channelfireball.com/home/raging-levine-conventional-wisdom/ ) and the need for the "middling" players to be utterly derisive toward other players (particularly less skilled ones) is beyond me. It goes the other way too, mind - they tend to put pro players on some kind of pedestal instead of just treating them like people who happen to win a little more often.
We all play because we love the game, isn't that enough?

Are you ready?

READY FOR THE RACE ARE YOU READY (ready... Ready... Ready... )
Hello I'm a turbo nerd

Who will be the next person you will kiss?

This is kinda private! But *I* know and *she* knows, and we're both into it, and that's enough for now? I may talk more about it eventually but not yet.

What drink do you prefer when you’re thirsty?

I've been defaulting to water a lot lately, better for me and I generally have to drink less of it. I like tea and lemonade too for general refreshment, though.

What is the largest competitive Magic tournament you've played in? How do you feel during competitive tournaments as a player?

Largest event I would count is 570; Baltimore SCG Open about a year ago, I went 7-3 on the day. (I enrolled in the more recent ~650 player open in Baltimore, but went 0-3 drop so I don't really count that.)
I think tactically, so my play decisions are all weighed carefully and I'm constantly re-evaluating my actions (though not really to the point of analysis paralysis - I almost never go to time anymore), which makes Magic kind of a stressful game in general; I've also got the personality of "hate to lose" in the sense that losing feels like I've failed in some way and it's directly my fault, so if/as the game turns against me I tend to stress out even more about what I may be doing wrong.
There's also a little social anxiety involved, since it's a lot of faces I don't know in the event hall - I try to mitigate this by being sporting and friendly with my opponents, so when they get all "game face" with me while trying to do that it tends to throw me off balance.
I think it's largely a personality thing; competitive events by nature foster a play to win atmosphere and that's not really what I want out of the game.

Do you always smile for pictures?

I try to, but it's hard to feel like the smile is genuine sometimes, and I would rather not smile than feel like the picture looks forced.

Oh :L, So when they're on the ground, i'm guessing you easily stamp on them?

Well, I should clarify, I generally only move to kill it if it's indoors or otherwise actively disturbing me. I don't like, seek out critters to squish.

are there any insects you stamp on?

If we're restricting to just insects, I try to preserve when possible, as most insects I encounter aren't menacing. Ants are gassed with extreme prejudice, and if I cannot easily catch a cricket, then that'll often be killed too. Spiders or other multilegged creepies, on the other hand, are kill on sight.

Do you trust your government?

I think the most accurate thing I can say here is that yes, I trust them - somewhat out of necessity. I do not necessarily have faith that this trust will be rewarded with results, however.
