Just recently, or overall? Chroma Squad is a great pickup just from my experiences in the recent stream, The Wonderful 101 is one of my favorite games on Wii U by a long shot, the Pikmin games are all really good, I really enjoy FFXIV and Destiny if you're into MMO style games, Journey's a great couple of hours.... there are a lot of good games!
This was a college professor I had who looked like Ben Franklin had lost a lot of weight so I got a picture of him on the last day of the semester, very nice dude and very passionate about his work.
What would you do if an elephant were charging at you?
Dark chocolate is real real good, milanos are also unreasonably tasty.
You obviously enjoy One Punch Man. Have you read ONE's other work, Mob Psycho 100? The main character, Mob, is a ridiculously powerful psychic who tries to better himself without using his powers. ONE's art is not the best, but his story-boarding and his story-telling are top notch!
I haven't read it, and honestly I enjoy the spectacle of the Murata rerelease as much as I enjoy the story. I can appreciate the stylization, but I really can't say it's particularly my jam!
Is there a particular game you really want to LP but not sure how to do it for one reason or another?
The MMBN games are notable for having a really fun and quick random encounter system, balanced by everything else being literally just "go to place and do/retrieve/place thing". I think the hybrid video/screenshot LPs currently on the subforum are probably the best format? But I don't think I'd ever really want to do that.I also really want to make a series of short videos about FFXIV, little guides for trials and dungeons! But I dunno if I really have the chops to make MMO content an enjoyable watch. I certainly want to try, though!
Is there a halloween candy that you absolutely loved as a child?
I've always been really partial to Mounds, frozen until the faux coconut hardens into an unforgiving mass surrounded by dark chocolate and a single lonely almond.Dark chocolate in general, though.
Did you run candy barter town?
I was but a humble merchant, then and now my brother remains the savvy candy businessman that rules candy barter (and also Monopoly, he's an unyielding barter lord)
I normally don't wear costumes, but I was possessed by the Halloween spirit a couple years ago and went to work in full-on Riddler costume! I don't have the picture on my PC, but I'll see if my folks have a copy somewhere!
The Bartering HourTo clarify, I'm one of three siblings. Come Halloween, we would venture around the neighborhood with our friend from across the street and fill up out plastic spook gourd analogues with vast hordes of varied candy and other sweets. But this presented an issue, as our palates were varied and our collections were distributed without regard to each child's preferred candy types and flavors. So when we finished our journey, we would retreat to the comfort of a living room and upend out facsimile-o-lanterns on the ground. And then, the barter would begin. Each child had certain demands of their candy, and an ample supply to trade. Chocolate was almost a standard for constant value, but one child was lactose intolerant and would thus trade normally valuable chocolate at a highly discounted rate. Where the supply of Hershey's Nuggets would fall, for example, a rise in equivalent trade for the last few would trigger an economic boom for the child that had mined it from the bowls of the unknowing neighbors when they "took a handful".Eventually, the barter would end. The floor would close for the night, and the final totals would be tallied. Some would seek quality of goods, ending with relatively few candies of high demand or personal preference. Others would seek quantity, mounds of offbrand "sweets" that would last weeks at a reduced potency from their large-label doppelgangers. But all would leave satisfied, accepting the wait until the Christmas season...Because when candy showed up in stockings, the barter would return.
Played through Journey, very rad. Played a bit of Destiny, also pretty rad. Haven't opened up bloodborne yet.I haven't been looking at PS4 games forever, so I don't know if any interest me. I'll have to keep an eye out from now on.
What do you think of this Peeple thing?
garbage and I don't think reasonable folks would disagree
What is the furthest place from home you've visited?
Went to Europe for a big round tourist trip once, that was pretty rad! Hit up a bunch of tourist traps with the family, went to a different country every day/other day and pretty much never got a good feel for anywhere in particular though. Went around Italy and Paris though, that was really cool!
