You should have like a YouTube channel There's not alot of how to videos for 3000s I have like basic tools like a socket kit and a couple wrenches. Idk what else I would be needing to buy to do engine work?
I don't know I want to make a YouTube channel but idk probably not tbh I post alot of things on 3si.
And your gonna need torque wrenches, buy them online trust autocraft bc if it ever breaks buy a new one at autoparts and return the broken one. That's what I do lmaoo
Also a breaker bar, to get those really high torqued bolts trust kine has saved my life countless times.
Most likely gonna have to by half inch socket adapter or just a half in socket set. I bought the sockets I needed individually and it added on I wish I bought a set.
Hey also if you want your more then welcome to kik me or whatever. I don't use ask alot I don't have the app. I get the alerts through my Gmail.

What advice would you give someone on trying to do work to a 3000? I want to go faster but it's stock I don't want to use more then a stack
I'd give everyone the same advice tbh
Invest in the proper tools first. It took me forever to get my tools. I've spent more on tools then my 3000 😂
Also repair manuals, I'm trying to find the link where I got mine but I can't. If your a member of 3si there's a link somewhere in there but my Internet is tooo slow.
But from what I know you have a stock 3000 so
Cold air intake, lighter clutch assy, cams, injectors.
Engine work obviously is much more delicate then drivetrain work. So your gonna wanna do alot of research. I'm actually gonna be doing my cam sprockets soon like I mentioned on my ig I'm more then happy to make a walk through or something when I'm doing it. I've started documenting most of the stuff I do anyways. Should have been doing it from the start but I'm dumb

Diamonds haha yeah I have a 1999 auto 3000 I got it for 4500 it looks like crap but it runs great. How much do you expect to spend and how much have you already?
I call every proud Mitsubishi driver a diamond, i don't know alot personally sadly but I'm a member of 3si so I'm okay lol.
And that's kinda high I traded my old car for this one. So it was basically like 1500 the price I would have settled for. Snd I've only out maybe 800 in so 2300 is basically what I've put in my car life in total actually.
I do all the work myself so I don't have to pay for someone else to do it.

I plan on building this car through out the years actually. I want to race it even though it's only fwd rn. But I'm planning on buying a piece of shit vr4 strip it of everything and put the rear subframe on my car along with everything else. And then selling the vr4 shell.
And that's cool I follow a ton of other diamonds I'm pretty sure i follow you if you have your car in your bio. #triplediamond

Why would you consider doing that conversion thing at all? Why not just have bought it in manual from the start?
My old car was a Honda del sol, and I did the same thing to that car. I bought it in manual tho, did a bunch of work but got tired of not having anything to show for it so I decided to follow a dream of mine. Which was to build my own Mitsubishi 3000gt or eclipse.
What have you done to your 3000 so far exactly?
Auto to manual transmission conversion, and some minor engine work. Obviously she's far from done tho ya know
Is it the car on your Instagram the 300gt? Is that the new one?
Jesus these questions don't require a answer from me, you can just look at my ig.
And yes my new car is the 3000gt, mitsubishi 3000gt.
