Ask @Pookeo9:

Do you believe in the so-called soulmates, twin flames and karmic connections? Why?

erosdea’s Profile PhotoDiana
Yes. I have always believed in this concept because there's certain people in this world who you meet for the very first time, and automatically, you feel "at home" with them. It is as if you've known them for years even though you've only known them for an hour or two. There's a reason why. It's because they are a soulmate, a twin flame, or a karmic connection.

Would it be necessary for kids to learn handwriting in the future, given the advancement of technology? Everything we write today is via a keyboard.

KeepYourEyesPeeled’s Profile PhotoLucas
Yes - unless we end up having e-signatures permanently. I personally think it can be an issue because that can be ripe for forgery. At the same time, people forge real signatures anyway, so it's not like that would end up solving a problem. Perhaps it would spell the end of signatures as we know it. Who knows. Nothing is permanent in this world, and things can change on the fly.
If we do eliminate handwriting, it would be impressive. That would mean it took us little time at all to go all tech, and it would likely spell the end of numerous other things as well. Such as writing books, writing poems, etc. Some people still handwrite them (I don't), but that would also be impacted if handwriting is no longer a thing.

Why is the school so unfriendly to depressed students?

KeepYourEyesPeeled’s Profile PhotoLucas
I feel like it's because they don't know how to deal with depressed students. Fortunately I've never had to go through this, but I have known a couple of people who got little to no support from the school - or just got very basic support that anyone could've gotten. I feel that if people are not getting proper support from councilors, then that's a problem. Whether it's due to differences in philosophy, not being an actual doctor, or something else, I believe every school needs solid mental health foundations put into place. Otherwise, there will be more issues arising.

Can a introvert be an alpha male to another introvert who is a lot younger? I'm a lot more experienced at being an introvert than be my trainer and know how to get along with extroverts.

KeepYourEyesPeeled’s Profile PhotoLucas
Yes. Anyone can be an alpha or beta male. I don’t like those terms though because of the negative connotations that can come through those labels. I like to believe that those who are “alpha” do not have to say that they are alpha. They just act it. If you have to say you’re an alpha male, then you’re an alpha loser.

Are you embarrassed to post photos of yourself❓

magmarziyat6003’s Profile PhotoMARZIYAT MAGOMEDOVA
No. I used to be many years ago, but then I overcame that fear once I lost weight. However I still never posted my picture here publicly because I like being different. I want to see what people think of my page, think of my answers, think of me as a person without ever seeing my face. I think it makes for some nice perspectives because some people will judge you on how you look, some people won’t care, some people will treat you differently if you show their picture, and so on. Plus I’m usually more of a private person.

What has meditation helped you achieve recently?

KeepYourEyesPeeled’s Profile PhotoLucas
Recently it's helped me remain grounded with my emotions, and not suppressing them. Last night I found myself getting a bit more emotional, and in the past I would've said "go away emotions". But no, I let them out and it felt good. It made me feel exhausted afterwards, but it was worth it. Then I woke up this morning - still feeling kinda off, but within minutes it improved. I had a strange dream that basically conformed to how my mind felt as I went to sleep - which is the main reason why I woke up still feeling off.

In a completely hypothetical situation, what would you do if YOU found Hitler alive today as an old man?

KeepYourEyesPeeled’s Profile PhotoLucas
I would be dumbfounded. Surprised. Not scared though. If there was any hope of Hitler still being alive today, he would be so old that I don't think you would even be able to walk or see or do anything that could result in devastation. I would probably laugh in his face. It wouldn't scare me at all. I'm a healthy tall young man who could probably turn Hitler into dust just by looking at him.
