As someone working in the United States, what has your general experience been in regards to the impact that Common Core has had on education?

I think it is too early to tell. But IMO it forces teachers to focus on gaming standardized tests instead of helping students truly learn a topic. So the end result is a less educated society or a superficially educated society, neither of which is good.

How do you feel about violent rioters being called "protesters" instead when their politics line up with mainstream media?

It's hypocritical of the media to do this. If it was a conservative group doing the violence, the media would be crying about the decline of society.
