Why are people so desperate for a romantic love?
Since birth we experience love. No, even before birth. & then ur born everyone loves u and is so excited to see you (later when u get older they arent anymore lol) wants to hold you etc. So that's the love we experience and we kind of have that love our whole life. When we get older we meet new people, make new friends that we like, love. Ur becoming a teenager and have your first crush (which is also some kind of love).
Anyway what I want to say is, we all experience that love towards your parents, siblings, a very good friend or a crush. But romantic love is something different than this "normal" kind of love. And I guess we just want to experience that too. We want to have this one special person in our life that does not love us as a brother/sister or as a friend, but as the person you are. Ugh idk that prolly sounds stupid xD
