"I need to call my boss, I'm late for work!"
She immediately pushed herself up and got off the bed.
"What!? That late already!?"
She had fallen asleep with her glasses on, which now were a bit crooked on her face, and was laying on his chest.
"Mmm..."
She grabbed the book and put it away.
"I love you too... We should sleep now."
"And damage my book? No."
"No. Not everything gets resolved through punches."
She left the open book on his head as a hat and put her hands on his shoulders.
She looked down at him, still resting the book on his head.
"It's not boring. It's a beautiful and passionate love story between two people who can't be together."
She finally chuckled and leaned her head back, resting the open book on his head.
"Oh my god, shut uuuuuup..."
She ignored him and just kept reading.
"...But you must take care to light thematches one at a time. If a powerful emotion should ignite them all at once, they would produce a splendor so dazzling that it would illuminate far beyond what we can normally see; and then a brilliant tunnel would appear before our eyes, revealing the path we forgot the moment we were born, and summoning us to regain the divine origins we had lost. The soul ever longs to return to the place from which it came, leaving the body lifeless."
She shook her head softly, smiling.
"...That fire, in short, is its food. If one doesn't find out in time what will set off these explosions, the box of matches dampens, and not a single match will ever be lighted."
