I have an Indian boyfriend with many wonderful qualities, but we have trouble communicating. While I try to bring up a variety of topics, the only things he is interested in are India, himself or gossip. How to deal? Sometimes he even falls asleep when I talk about other things besides that.
I'm sure he has other interests. Talk to him and get to know him more. Tell him about your day and ask him about his day what happend and etc. and if he still falls asleep talk to him and tell him that you need some attention.
Or maybe he just didn't get enough sleep....
