What were the major changes and challenges RiffTrax faced when going from the format of MST3K to an online service?
Our main concern was, "Would people know what to do? Would they be interested?" When we launched the site in 2006, the only product was an MP3 commentary track for Road House. Podcasts were still pretty new at the time, but gaining ground and becoming more ubiquitous every day. Luckily, people knew enough about MP3s, and didn't seem to mind the whole process of synching up the track to the movie. That was great news for us, and the rest is history!
