How do you come up with ideas for you edits? Is there some type of process you go through?
experimentation and just things that pop in my head. i get inspired by the music too
yo selektor i started glitch editing can i get your ops like can i add you on skype or post the prev here
my skype is: cutelilhogi dont have a lot of free time so dont get annoyed if i dont respond to your desired time
i cant find any plug in you are using on pirate bay or kickass torrent do i do something wrong? i type in glitchify in the search bar but i got no result im noy really into pirating except for video editing stuff xD
how did you create the killfeed in 2048? i'm not asking for a step-by-step because i'm sure you dont want to give it away, but was it in-game or all post-production?
both. record one clip without killfeed and one with. the one with find a blank spot in the map, preferably under the map something black so you can chroma key it. layer the two clips and position the killfeed. tada.
ever thought of quitting and just going all real life films instead?
i promised myself that i'd do both years ago. i dont think i'll 'officially' quit but instead just slowly fade and release when i can.
yo i noticed that you dont p/c (scale) why ??
i do
any advices on how to improve time remap cus i started with that and dont feel comfortable with other syncing methods
just experiment, always ramp fast, slow then fast out
sorry for spamming this question but can i get the song from your scrapped dual with deli pls ;-;
yo recently i started experiment alot in ae made glitches not perfect just meh but the thing is can you explain to me why when i set the blending mode to overlay it actually dims the clip a little has this ever happened to you ?
there's no rule in what blending mode you can set it to, you dont even have to have it as overlay. depending on how you made them then just play with the different modes - or not at all. all up to you
how do you actually sync glitches ? is it like making an audio amplitude and then pig whipping it to the glitches like what you did with pixel sorter in "pulled apart" ?
yeah i've done that. you sync glitches like you would with any other effect, just place it where you think it fits with the song lol
yo do you have like a special way of doing your remap or just like play with it until it looks good ? also did you use remap from the beginning of your start in editing ?
my remap gets simple at first, then i mess around with it in an advanced matter when i like my main sync points. i used time stretch in ae first, then the same in vegas, then i found out about remap.
yo dude how can i make my own glitches in ae, also why didnt you continue the dual with delineate
just experiment with a lot of precomps, effects and layers. i also recommend you do a little DIY with glitches. didnt want to continue it because it was getting boring and i just didnt feel it. i dont like forcing myself to do something that doesnt feel right.
