will you punish your kids for bad grades
It depends on what the grade is.
If my future child normally gets A’s and B’s - then I would first sit down with my child and have a talk, ask them whats been going on to make their grades drop.
If it’s something like not getting enough sleep, falling asleep in class, focusing on the wrong things, or if they just don’t care..
I would be firm with them and make sure they know they need to put getting good grades as a top priority. Give them a chance to make their grades go up.
If they stay down, then I would go further into taking away what’s keeping their attention off of school.
