Definitely California, London is
1) Very bad weather all the time unpredictable and mostly drizzly rain, California you can guarantee warmth if not 100% sunshine
2) expensive, overrated and for tourists unless you live in the suburbs, but the suburbs are over crowded too and people arn't too friendly
3) No decent beaches in England unless you travel a few hundred miles and then they are all crowded, California has miles and miles of coastline all sandy,have loads of stones and rocks
