What's the movie that made you cry?

I can't remember crying at a movie, but if I did it was because of some sappy "boy looses dog but girl comes home" with lots of appropriate music. I get misty from some melodramatic TV commercials though, so there's that too.

It's not even Halloween yet and I'm already seeing Christmas stuff for sale. What's your favourite time of the year?

Ask me again in six months when the precursor to this question makes more sense.

if you were a videoblogger, what would your videos be about?

I have an under-used vlog channel on YouTube. It was mostly going to be videos other than politics, but I've only ever posted to it once. I'll post more to is eventually, but mostly fitness and workout stuff. The channel is Root Vlogs.

It's Black Friday! Are you going to be extra cautious today?

It's Friday the 13th (in April). Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving (last Thursday in November) when all of the Holiday sales start in the US. I'm not superstitious though, or a Knights Templar, so no. Any month that the 1st falls in a Sunday will have a Friday the 13th (non-leap years that start on a Thursday will have 3 in a year) and we have at least one a year.

Do you miss someone who was too close to you?

There are some people I miss sometimes, but not very often. I think most of it is nostalgia though.

What music do you listen to when you need to concentrate on work?

When I need to concentrate, I don't really want music. I would only use that to help filter out outside noises. But if I'm going to do that I'd rather listen to a book or a podcast.

Root was a nickname I had for a very short time in grade school. And I practice informal skepticism regularly.

Have you ever had cockroaches? How to get rid of them?

Not that I can recall. The typical measures include cleaning thoroughly, using bait traps and spraying.

What options of universities are you looking for?

One that offers my degree choices, that is accredited, and is free.
