I would choose the the 13th century as people so often think of the Middle Ages as an ignorant and dark time but I think they were times of great faith and light despite the fact that life was very hard to be sure.

Answering this made me think that I should try to "travel" to this time through at least reading a bit more about it.

I am only sure of ever buying one item of music and that was an album of "Talking Heads" and that as a school boy. I cannot even recall the name of the album now.

I am not aware that the Holy Father has a golden chair but if he does it really does not belong to him but to the Church and hence to God and for God's glory like all the property of the Church.

Apart from me, not really.

I spent three nights at Heathrow after being offloaded from a flight and finally having my ticket canceled. This all started because I was quite insistent that I be told how long my flight would be delayed so that I could dash off to Confession.

I would have love to have learned metaphysics and logic and the history of philosophy.

I say that now but I am not sure that I would have enjoyed it so much when I was a schoolboy.

Perhaps I would have enjoyed coding or motor car maintenance more.

I really like Brussel sprouts but perhaps it is just that I don't eat them so often and I find a long for their distinctive taste.

Fortunately I don't really battle to fall asleep. If I find I really don't want to sleep even though I am really tired lying down in front of television is sure to put me to sleep quickly.

If nobody reacts to your social account should you keep it?

I think one should keep a social account going even if no one responds to it. I must say this sounds a bit odd to me and I cannot quite put my finger on why I say this. I feel it is a bit like keeping a light burning in the hope that it might help others.

This said I also think that one should be happy to walk away from social accounts even if they are very popular but are proving hurtful to oneself or others near one.

I don't really buy art stuff but I think one should buy the best quality of supplies one can afford as to get the best possible result for the time and effort that one expends. That said when I have bought art supplies I have tended to buy the cheapest being happy to explore what one can achieve with the material. The longevity of the artwork was never really a concern though.
