The bundle of ‘joy’ expressed his displeasure at the sudden intrusion by lifting his brow bone, his tentacles began to twitch in annoyance. “Mmmm… How lovely.” The goth responded, his sarcasm was flowing like venom from his tongues. He lingered in the silence for a moment, cocking his head to the side. He was waiting to see whether the Sans would continue his discussion with his imaginary friend. Moments like this remind Nightmare how incredibly amusing and tragically awful it all is, as he occasionally queries why he even has henchmen. He was, to be honest, suppressing a chuckle.

He thought she was being dramatic because they were merely playing truth or dare. "You've done worse," he said as he eyed her. "So no promises. Now off you go before I change my mind." He was joking, or was he?
"Now come on, Nova. Don't say that you'll break my heart," he responded, creating a heart with his hands. He approached Nova since he was pleased with how things turned out. "But I can say it was a pleasure working with you," he said as his tentacle wrapped around the cuff, and as it let go of her ankle, the cuff vanished with it. "There you are, Hodgepodge; is there anything else I can do for you?" He inquired, maybe to be courteous despite knowing the answer.

Nightmare didn't even glance at you, instead pulling out a gl-ck and pointing it at you. The g-n was constructed of Legos, and he sh-t you with a Lego piece. It most likely just bounced off your head. He wanted to witness the ingenuity of his minions, so he gave them legos, and they went crazy. He had already noticed Nova's absence; it couldn't have happened while he was present. So that must have happened when he departed for 2 minutes to grab the legos. He is aware of her whereabouts, yet he is unfamiliar with the location itself. He had set a timer for her to enjoy herself and explore, similar to letting a child have some free time. It was time to free her because she complied with his request. She was teleportedhere from wherever she may have been as he snapped his fingers and the cuff started to glow.

The cuff was created using technology and includes skeleton parts from several different ones, including Nightmare. Think of it like a living scar—you won't likely be able to get rid of it. It's fused with her. If someone were to amputate her leg, the amputated portion would fall off and disintegrate, and her leg would grow back with cuff. The manacle would also hasten the healing process. It would be instantaneous; leg gone, poof leg is back.
The door appeared to your left as the drama queen waved his hand in the air like a magician; if Nova stepped inside, the room will shift to her comfort. Is everything just an elaborate illusion? Who knows, but if she touched the items in the room, they seemed to be genuine enough. "I would wish you a peaceful night's sleep, but that just isn't who I am, is it? Nightmares are the best I can hope for you." And then he vanished behind a bookcase. If she had chosen to accept his offer, the only sounds she would hear are page turning, occasional humming, and footsteps.
After he had finished plucking, he gave each of the two wings a light scratch before proceeding past Nova to his throne, where he picked up a book. He then walked over to one of his numerous bookcases and put the book back where it belonged. "Sleeping for a bit can help the time go by more quickly, so why not?" He wondered, scratching his chin as if it were the best idea he had ever had.
"Good girl," he acknowledged. Many creatures, who were either foolish or bold, refused to comply even when they had no other option. He continued to pluck for around ten minutes while Nightmare's little minions entered one by one and left with heaps of feathers. The sable blob was silent unless the hybrid had anything to say. He was to give your wings a nice scratch once he was done. He laughed at the idea that it might surprise you.
