Are you going to end up regretting the decision if you stick to your gut and continue w/ quarterback and it doesn't work out where as you couldve taken an opportunity to play at another position? you say now that u are content in your decision but will u still be in the future if it doesn't work out

Yes I will. And thanks for your concern.

I am your aunt Lynda(steve) brother. If quarter back don't work out, you could be a starter as a back or safety. much more play time. Think about it.

Thank you for the suggestion.

What job do you want to have after you graduate?

I don't even like the term "job." Lol!
Obviously I'd love to go to the NFL. That would be a huge blessing. But if that doesn't happen, unless I go into coaching, I won't be working for someone else. I'll have my own business.

Why do you still wear Mizzou stuff?

...because most of my wardrobe is Mizzou stuff. I'm not gonna throw away 75% of the athletic clothes that I own.
Unless you want to buy me new stuff? :)
And also because I still like Mizzou. Just because it wasn't the right fit for me, doesn't mean I "hate everything Mizzou." I grew while I was there, and I'm happy for that period of my life. So I'm absolutely still gonna wear the Mizzou clothes that I have.

Hey Trent. Just wondering if you are going to be starting at Western Arizona? If so I might come watch you play :)

I'm not sure if that will happen this week. If I would have gotten here more than 5 days ago, I probably would've had a better shot. But since I've only been here a few days, it's probably gonna take a little time.

The biggest regret that you've had in the last year?

Not heeding my father's advice about not trusting people.
Not saving my money as well as I should have.
And being too sensitive. As in, taking things too seriously.

Why haven't you asked those girls out that you believe are wife material? More than one I'm assuming?

That's a very good question. Lol!
Probably more timing than anything.

Your profiles says Quarterback for the 2014 Arizona Western Matadors and BYU Commit. Are you playing JC this year? If so, how many years of eligibility will you have at BYU?

Yes I am. I'm playing JUCO for a semester, then I'll be out in December. And I'll have 3 years of D1 eligibility.

do you have a favorite BYU creamery ice cream yet?

BYU Creamery?!? This sounds like a place I should already know of...

What happens if you don't end up getting the playing time you want at BYU? They have some good quarterbacks coming in. What is your plan B?

Don't have a plan B.
But plan A is to train, prepare, and grow into the best option for BYU.

What motivates you to share the gospel in places that might not have heard it or need to hear it?

I'm just as motivated to help people here, who think they have heard the Gospel, realize it to be true. That doesn't have to be so far away, that can be done right here.
And I'm motivated by the fact that Jesus asks it of us, as Christians.
That's all the motivating someone should need. :)

What inspired you to be who you are today?

I think it is a combination of a lot of things. Everyone has different things that inspire them.
And the core of everything, I seek to glorify The Lord with my entire life. So whatever I do, I do it so that I will bring honor to Jesus.
I want to bring honor to my parents, my family, my friends, and my future wife and family. That's honestly what inspires me to be the very best, at whatever it is that I choose to do.

Did you transfer to Arizona Western recently? Will you be able to get some PT at QB there?

Yes I did. And that's the plan. I'll play a little this weekend, just as I'm learning the system, and we'll see how it progresses from there.

how do i become the "right girl" for you??

Lol! Just be yourself, and if it's meant to be, I'm sure it'll be.

Do you have any former Mizzou teammates you still keep in good contact with?

To be honest, not really. There are several guys that I have a lot of respect for, but I haven't really talked with any of them.
But I haven't been gone too long. Maybe that will happen at some point.

Most influential coach you have had?

Does having my father as a coach count? :)
Other than my father, I would have to say my wrestling coach from Staley, Gary Mayabb. Both of those men have had a tremendous amount of influence.

Best pro football coach of all time? Tom Landry, Bill Walsh, Vince Lombardi, Hank Steam? Who would you say?

I'm a huge fan of Bill Parcels, but it'd be hard not to give it to Vince Lombardi or Bill Walsh.
