What kind of career do you work in?

One that makes me wish I was still unemployed, but then my paychecks come in and I decide to put up with it

How did P3 Protag factor into P2129? Was he still a door? Did/would he scream internally at the fact that he sacrificed himself just so that humanity could fuck up and create the world of P2129?

P3 Protag was still a door because somewhere between P3 and P2129 Elizabeth disappeared (Kaede probably got to her) and the occupants of the old Velvet Room were exiled from that universe.
As for the screaming internally thing...well, depends if you think he was still conscious/sentient at the time. Then again, considering that:
-His successor Kaede Kurusu, the girl whom all his friends and their friends placed their hopes into, fucked up her trial and nearly brought about the end of the world.
-And even though that didn't happen, over 50% of the world became dominated by Shadows, thus causing untold numbers to give up hope and die in the process. Also, they won't go away.
-Personas became known to the general public, but this indirectly led to many terrible aspects of humanity being brought forward as the collective consciousness became more materialistic, selfish and power-hungry.
-None of his friends (or their allies) really made their mark in the future. Even if they did, the changes to history Kaede made erased them all.
-SEES all got slaughtered by Kaede (except Aigis and Mitsuru, the latter of which died alone and in grief).
-The Investigation Team got corrupted into murderous abominations.
-The Phantom Thieves were forced to blow themselves up to seal Kaede and her insanity away.
-Aigis, a possible love interest of P3, sacrificed herself (with the rest of Kaede's companions) to prolong the existence of a dying world...only be rewarded by being transformed into a powerful enemy for the next Wild Card. Also, she forgot everything she ever learned from the P3 Protag and the rest of SEES.
...maybe it's best that he stay unconscious for now. But yeah if he was conscious then there would be no words.
The Velvet Room twins were meant to symbolize the corruption of the collective consciousness and how the existence of Takashi's world was already a foot in the grave, but looking back they could've represented how unfulfilled and unremembered the hopes and efforts of his predecessors were.
Sometimes I wondered what would happen if ATLUS made Persona 2129 into a real game. Aside it from being the most unlikely SMT-related thing to ever exist, people would've been so, so upset to find that everything they did in the past 3 games was pointless in the end.
also its been over 2 years since I wrote P2129 why are you people still asking these questions

Mushroom girl or candy girl?

Holy fuck there are people still asking questions
Candy girl because I actually bothered to spend more than 30 mins on her character.

The more I play Persona 5, the more parallels I keep seeing with P2129. Are you sure someone didn't borrow your ideas?

I'd like to say that I secretly work for ATLUS Japan but the truth is it's just a bunch of coincidences. If anything you should be looking for parallels with early Homestuck and SMT: Nocturne because that's where I got the part of the idea of AETHER from.

Have you ever regretted cancelling one of your quests? In that same vein have you considered doing a redo of them?

I think I could've continued P2129 if I took a step back and refined some of the mechanics.
I also plan to rework Academy Tournament Organization Quest because its current setting really isn't suited for the ideas I have for Keiichi, Akasha-Alea and the others. It didn't help that I started it without a clear goal in mind.

What has been your favorite and least favorite parts of each of your quests?

Favourite: Takashi vs Celeste, writing Akasha-Alea, writing Akikazu, Harem Bro Quest's first half
Least Favourite: That fuckup in Area 019 in P2129, the latter half of Harem Bro Quest (seriously, what the fuck was I thinking)

Deciphering runes. Will they start becoming fiendishly difficult or is that too much?

They won't be impossible.

Have you done any other writing besides your quests?

I used to write Pokemon fanfiction involving OCs. They were awful but I have a lot of fond memories about the characters I wrote.

What fantasy world would you live in if you could?

The Spirit Realm I made up because that way I could be reincarnated as a firearm spirit and spend all my existence serving Akasha-Alea and her mentee--wait, Akasha-Alea doesn't have any servants. Okay, that might not be a good idea.
Persona 2129's then? No, life sucks if you don't have a Persona. To say nothing of the misinformed goddess who thinks sending teenagers into a deathtrap to create a new world is a good idea.

If Takashi hasn't caught apathy syndrome as a child, would he have normally developed a persona?

Extremely likely. His Persona would be Ippon-Datara and he would most likely not be a Fool. His social stats would be at the very least Rank 2. He would have maintained contact with Aria through the years and developed a relationship as childhood friends. This isn't any better for Aria, because childhood friends are cursed in romance.
