Who do you look up too?

For the longest time, I used to think that it was my Dad. But as I grew up and matured and understood the world around me a little better, I realized, it is not my Dad I look up to, it’s someone else entirely…
I look up to my Mom.
My mother is the strongest, most righteous, inspiring and wise woman I know. And to think she only has 4 years of school altogether is astonishing… but that does not stop her from reading, using Facebook, and constantly learning new things.
She turned 50 this May but she’s an amazing lady, always carrying some valuable advise in her pocket, no matter what the issue someone has, she will definitely find a way to help… one way or another. If she can’t help you to resolve it altogether, she will help you figure out how to handle it like a champ; if she can’t show you how to jump to the other side, she will show you how to paddle through the difficulties and obstacles and even how to handle it if you fail.
I don’t know what would I do if I didn’t have her… She always has my back… our back. All we have to do is call her and talk to her, and nothing is as gloomy anymore, because she will surely find a way to shed some light on any dark days we encounter in our paths.
Love you, Mom, more than you will ever know!

In fact, I once dated someone I met on the internet, and although she broke my heart, I don't regret it. That person taught me a lot of life lessons. I'm very grateful to her. She will always be in my heart, for better or for worse.
