what was the motivation to start your own comic?
I've been a fan of cartoons for most of my life, my favourites being Steve Bell's "IF" from The Guardian and Gary Trudeu's "Doonesbury" - but always in a passive reader way. The main thing that inspired me to actually draw my own comic was reading the fantastic "Ozy and Millie" by Dana Simpson.
That, marijuana, a stupidly optimistic brain, and some egging on from my university and internet friends, are the reason that seven years later, Woods for the Trees is a webcomic - and I love all of them for it :D
