You hear stories about people being discriminated because of this and that and you don't imagine it would ever happen to you or someone you know. It's not surprising it was hate projected because of the scarf they were wearing, and chances are high that the hate was fueled by the awful events that happened in Paris. We are in a period of humanitarian crisis. I don't get why it's hard to see that we all have to focus on our common denominators. We all want to live in a world that is safe for us, we all want peace, we all have, at least at the moment, one common enemy. Yet you don't have to look far to find one fellow being attacking another without knowledge of the actual truth, or the will to try to understand it. Just thoughts.
