Do you watch the Real Husbands of Hollywood? Do you watch any of the "reality" type shows?

Not Real Husbands. CBW loves it though.
I watch love & hip hop ATL and RHOA ATL. If I was ever home, Id watch I Dream if Nene.
I like Bravo shows.

Not op but why do u think she lied about fianxe? I've done that in work setting before just lied about something that was kinda personal and it was fear of pressure and judgement and then danced around it until I left the company. Hope they don't google her guy and find the truth!

See previous answer. (Literally. The OP just responded.)

Re lie: it's weird it just slipped out I basically said his real job title but said he worked for someone else. I feel terrible for lying but also to fiancé maybe I can I misunderstood IF if ever comes back up again. Just worried boss may google fiancé and see diff.

But why did you say he worked for someone else?
Are you insecure about his job??

What are thoughts on how to bring up issue with bills to husband? Everything else is going great in relationship and I hate disturbing the peace between us but I've asked him 3x to take care o something and he has not. I know he should hav the money so why hasn't he? That's what I need to find out.

You can be point blank since is the FOURTH time. Ask if he has the money and if so, why the bill hasn't been paid.
It's not really "peace" if you're biting your tongue and ignoring a big issue.

You advocate for women to reconnect with friends when friendship and turned sour or one stop speaking to other but u suggest women just move on from boyfriends in sim sitch. What's the diff?? Isn't it possible the friend is no longer interested either?

The questions about friendships are usually long term and about bad communication over an incident versus a guy you've been dating/ in a relationship with who is consistently treating the woman poorly or creating major breaches of trust.
I don't tell folks to mend relationships with friends who consistently do awful ish or they don't trust. And I do suggest mending rifts with SOs when it's a poor communication ish that's blown up too far.

Hey belle, what are your thoughts on getting to know/dating a man down on his luck? He'sattentive, sweet, and honest but he can't find a job, has a past record, and he sleeps on friends couches if they let him.

He needs to focus on getting himself together. Dating is a luxury.

I have hpv. When would be the right time to tell a guy I'm dating about it?

Anytime before sex. The convo you have about getting tested together for HIV is a prime time to mention it.

HS BFF and I had a falling out a few years back. She thought I was choosing friends from college over her during my birthday trip. I wasn't entertaining it during my birthday weekend. When I get back she ended our friendship. Haven't spoken since but interested in catching up. Just reach out?

Yup.

My roommate is getting on my nerves. She acts like I am her assistant (or her man) because I have a 9-5 and she is a banker that works long hours--getting thgs fixed in apt, scheduled package delivery etc. I'm over it and want to discuss but I am afraid that I will cuss her out I'm so annoyed-

So wait til you calm down. Don't cuss at her. It won't make things better

My boss asked what my fiancé does for living and I exaggerated a bit kinda lie not sure why just can put. Shoul I be worried and find a way to correct myself r let it go?

You need to figure out why you lied
You'll sound crazy trying to clean that up to your boss. Let it ride and try to keep them from meeting.

RE:BFf/Baby donor. No written agreement. I'm guessing all of this is because he and my Ex had words in the past. But as my BFf this seems unfair to me. He's going to great lengths to stick it to an old rival. I'm afraid things will get messy :(

Things are already messy.
You need a lawyer.

37 and due to give birth any day now. BFF agree to father my child and I would raise my son myself. He is just a donor. Recently an Ex has come back in my life (He's cool with what's going on with me) and wants to try us again. My BFf is acting a donkey and now wants joint custody. This isnt what we

You need a lawyer.
Whatever your agreement was, he IS the bio dad. Do you have the agreement you made in writing? If so, did he give up parental rights?
If not, I'm pretty sure he has a right to the child.

Come from a family with weight problems. Currently thin. How do I introduce guy to family without spooking him that I will one day be overweight? I have different habits than my family but am afraid of his loss of interest. We talk about marriage.

Tell him what you just told me. See what he says.
You don't really want a future with the guy who looks at your fam, then all the sudden loess interest.
Your family is your family. You should not be ashamed of them.

Hi Belle, I appreciate u! Been meaning to ask this for a while now & the last q reminded me: What is it with guys who ONLY text? I'm 29 so I'm w/ the old school & don't take too well to guys who don't call. In my exp, guys 25 & under mainly do it. How do u them to call u w/o sounding "outdated"..?

They pick up the phone when they're genuinely interested, even the under 25s.
Ask them to call, if they don't? Dont bother. They're not that interested anyway.

How long is a good amount of time to date before you label a relationship gf/bf?

You need to have a discussion. It doesn't just happen. I'm a fan if waiting a couple seasons, 4-6 mos.

Gave guy number in club last Saturday he texted sat night and Sunday . Monday he texted again told him was working out and to call . No call but he likes IG pic .... Give it time or let it go ?

Next time he texts, ask him-- again-- to call. If he continues to just text, you can ignore him.

Thank you so much for keeping it real and not sugar coating any answers to our questions. I need stuff like this instead of having my girlfriends tell me what I think I want to hear or trying to make me feel better.

Have a 86 y/o uncle who makes a point to bash my hair and/or weight during family functions. Its embarrassing hurtful n pisses me off b/c family seems 2 act like its ok. I know he is my elder but how do I shut him down b/c im not for being made a spectacle of this holiday season. Thank you!

Ask him why your hair/weight bothers him so.

What do ppl have against virgins and does how old you are when you lose it really matter?

Nobody has anything against virgins, but after a while experienced people don't want to teach and too, there's the fear that women who have not has sex may become clingy if they have it.

my best friend and I fell out and I'm trying to fix things on my end. he won't answer any personal question I ask, just logistical stuff where our lives happened to be intertwined. do you think he's done with me forever or just needs more time?

He's done for now. Let him stew for a bit. He's still mad.
I can't call if he's done forever. That answer is largely based on what the falling out was over and what was said.

Met guy online, haven't met up yet, all things seemingly well convo wise - text throughout day for a week. Phone call planned for last night, he texted 10mins b4 to give the heads up that he'd be calling. Never heard from him. Should I text/call to find out the deal or no go?

Nope. Let him call. And don't "wait by he phone"

I'm a 24 year old woman and have yet to have a romantic relationship. What can I do to find a quality man (honest, smart, funny, trustworthy..) as a full time grad student?

Date as much as possible, ask a lot of questions and watch if actions/ match words.

How much does an editor usually charge to edit a book

Copy editors are around a dollar a page. No clue what an editor- editor would charge. I was on salary when I did it.
You can google for this info.

I've been dating this one guy for a year... But I want to dump him because he smells weird and he eat a lot. He is terrible in the bed. But who do I sat this to him? I want to tell him why, but he just begin to cry if i'm telling him the truth. And don't say something cliché...

Then don't tell him. Give him the "it's not you, it's me" and end it.
I'm not a fan of kicking people on the way out. You wanna go? Just say so and be out.
