How do you approach relationships when you know you don't want to marry?

The same way you approach when you do. When the topic comes up, you just say it's not on your horizon.

smile more, pay compliments, and ask questions of attractive men, you'll come across as friendly, confident and approachable.

Are soul ties real? My bestie tells me that the reason why I'm not over my ex after two years is because I have a soul tie . I think that's crazy. I believe we all heal at different rates. Maybe it just takes me longer to get over a heart break . What's your take Belle?

That's a good ? about the car. I don't have 1. So is wrong for me to want the guy to always pick me up? What do you do in situations like this where a person doesn't have a car? Are the roles gender specific?

That "I always have to drive/ come get you" gets old for the driver real quick. You'll have to put in some effort to get around too-- man or woman.

How do you tell a guy you're dating what you want/looking for without having it sound like a list of demands? Even tho that's kind of what they are

"I like the kind of guy who does ...." It's saying what you want without demanding.

No I have my own car. Just that I have come across guys calling wanting me to travel all over to meet them and it was getting frustrating.

It's still superficial, but if you have one, you're within rights to expect one and/or expect that they make effort to come to you however they can.

Should I take someone lack of interest in my life as a red flag? An ex of mine wants to rekindle during dinner I gave him the rundown of how my life has changed. Most others ask questions he said 'oh that's good' and quickly changed the subject.

When he acts like someone who wants to rekindle, entertain him. Until then? Meh.

Dating this guy and sometimes he acts as if he's not interested. (But wanting to attend time with me, go in dates) but when I asked him if he was truly interested, he started to question why and go to the limit to prove he is. Sound good and all but actions aren't consistent

Then he's not really interested.

A "friend" wants me to come to her baby shower don't hear fom her months on unless she needs info,etc. Invited her to events and vacation celebrate me graduating grad scholl she came to none am I be unreasonable for feeling some type of way about her sending me an invite I feel she just wants gifts

My husband missed our daughters christening and refuses to tell me why or were he was I've told him is disrespectful and irresponsible and very unlike him. We have been married 2 years never showed signs of this.. Help!

Not checked out per se, but definitely skeptical and at wit's end.

Traded msgs w/ a potential b/c our schedules have yet to align to catch up. He hits me up today checking in (he's out of town @ wedding), doesn't answer one of my Qs and then stops responding. Presumably the wedding/reception started. He didn't say bye. Doesn't seem right. He reached out to me first

No. Its always been odd to me that people talk about wanting to be married but with no potential partner in sight.

When dating you don't have to go into detail about past relationships. That part I get. Once you enter into a relationship, if you're partner asks, do you have to discuss details? Or is this still off limits? I don't understand wanting to know FULL details about your ex & what went on.

You dont have to give full details. For what??

Friend had 3some w married couple Ish blew up husband was sending her personal emails , and friend thinks wife is gay . Couple cut off friendship for while and friend feels sad and is still trying to hang out with them. I think they r using her for sex. How do I tell her nicely to keep it moving .

Mind your business unless she asks.

A new friend likes to refer to her girlfriends as birches I notice this is the new norm. She equates it to when black folk use the n word- as long as she and he friends use it on ea other its not bad. Ur thoughts

If you're not okay with it, ask her not to do it to you or dont hang around her.

Yes. But does it matter if he thinks you're better? He told more or less he doesn't deserve you. He knows himself better than you.
A man who says he's a mess, and you agree is a mess, thinks you're better. Why would this matter???
