What is the dumbest way you’ve been injured?

About two years ago, I cut my hand open on a tin of soup. I had to go to the hospital and have stitches. Recently in Iceland, I slipped on the ice whilst walking back to my hotel. I didn't put my arms out like a normal person, ended up face planting the floor, and almost broke my nose and knocked my teeth out. I was very, very lucky it wasn't worse!

I'd tell myself not to take any shit. To stand up for myself and not let bullies tear down my self esteem. Although it's easier said than done, I'd tell myself not to care about what others thought of me. I'd tell myself I was beautiful, and to ignore all the horrible comments I used to get about my appearance. Those people were probably just jealous. I'd also tell myself to be more open and honest about my feelings. I struggled with undiagnosed mental health issues when I was younger, and if I'd just been more open, perhaps things wouldn't have got out of hand.

Yesssss, 100%. I don't ever want to annoy anyone, or message them at a bad time and then they'll feel like they have to reply when they're either busy or really not in the mood to converse.

I signed up to Askfm about eight years ago, and I'm still here because I like answering questions. I like putting down my thoughts and how I'm feeling; I find it quite therapeutic in a way. There's also some amazing people on here who I love reading about, and keeping up to date on their lives. I've met some really lovely people through this app. I just can't believe I've been using it so long!

Are you feeling “christmasy”?

Hmm, not really. I still feel like it's November. 😂
I'm sure I'll feel different on Christmas Day though when I see all my family to swap gifts. Also when we have Christmas dinner, have Christmas music playing and have a buffet and a few drinks. Past Christmases haven't been great for me, but I'm feeling positive about this one!

Christmas plans?

On Christmas Eve, I'm going to my boyfriend's house for a bit. I'm going to give his mum her present from me, too. I got her some wine and chocolates. On Christmas Day, I'll be spending time with family, swapping gifts and eating all the food. On Boxing Day, I'll be doing the same except my boyfriend will be coming over too so we can swap gifts. I'll also probably have a few drinks seeing as I'm not going out. 🍻

What are some nerdy things that you like?

I really like quizzes and gameshows. Gameshows are one of my favourite things to watch on TV. I know a lot of people find them a bit annoying after a while, but I love them. Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely no good at them and get every single question wrong, but I just really enjoy them. I really admire people who are that smart, and I'm a little jealous of them too. I always say I'd love to be clever enough to be a Chaser on The Chase, but unfortunately I have a memory like a sieve. 😂

How many followers do you have? How many people do you follow? Who are some of your favourite accounts?

I have 1034 followers. I'm not sure how many people I follow, but I'd say a good 80% of them are inactive since I've been using Askfm for about eight years. It used to be a lot more popular than it is right now. It's really gone downhill haha.
As for my favourite accounts, I'll just tag whoever comes up when I type the " @ " symbol. I don't normally like doing this, as I don't want to annoy anyone with tags. So apologies if I do tag you, and you find it irritating!
