Do you enjoy coffee? If so, how do you like it?

I do! I’m more of a latte drinker, but since getting a coffee machine at home, it’s been lovely to experiment with trying different coffee beans and such! That, and learning how to make a decent cup of coffee ahah. I’ve managed to learn how to get a decent consistency so far with milk pouring recently, so hopefully I can experiment with doing latte art soon! ☕️

Kind of. I really miss the community of being at uni, particularly the latter two years. I think it’s been heightened since the pandemic, with not being around creatives and not being in a creative environment. That, and the campus being surrounded by nature and it feeling like a second home at that point. It probably sounds a bit silly, but I do wish I were in a similar environment again :)

Something you miss?

I miss being by the beach. The week flew past and it took me a while to get into holiday mode, so I feel like I lost a few days there too. I miss that sense of feeling completely at peace.

For pure mythology from across the world, I highly recommend “Myths and Legends”; I’ve come across so many amazing stories through these guys, and I love the narration/the modern retelling of them, particularly the humour! Goofy humour is the best 😆

• Lore: Basically it’s about unusual events in history and urban folklore in general, but this one I recommend the most out of these!

• Unexplained (this is the more creepier one, so if you’re a scaredy cat like me, don’t listen to this one when you’re about to go to sleep 😅🙈)
• Unobscured. Each season is a deep dive into a particular topic, the first one was on the Salem Witch Trials and the second was on Spirituality in 1800s America. It’s pretty cool stuff :)

• Cabinet of Curiosities. They’re 10min episodes on strange and funny findings from present day to way back.

• Noble Blood: This one I highly recommend. It’s unusual tales from rather fascinating monarchs - from outright quirky to intriguing murder plots, and everything in between :)

The closest I’ve been to that would be the degree shows at uni, where I designed a costume for a friend to model and wear down a runway. Not quite the same as seeing Dior perhaps, but it’s probably the closest I’ll ever get! :)

I think I’m pretty open about my interests on here/in general! The most *obscure* things would probably be listening to podcasts on mythology and urban folklore, or embroidery as an art medium, maybe. :)

Wearing a favourite piece of clothing, putting on some makeup, playing with the doggos, listening to some upbeat music and singing along, watching a show that makes me laugh, doing art, etc! 👌🏻✨

Audiobooks are a great way to go about that, as it enables you to multitask and work on something else, if sitting down and reading a physical book isn’t always possible. I do enjoy reading, but since I’ve started listening to audiobooks, I really enjoy being able to keep that going, despite it being in a different format :)
