In your experience do introverts and extroverts complement each other? In HS I was anxious and introverted and my bff was extroverted. I've always admired her, so confident, so charismatic, so dashing. She was like my voice, anything that I was thinking but couldn't say she'd say it for me.

I think so! My best friend during the masters was very much an extrovert (or at least an extroverted introvert), and she basically did all of my socialising for me, it was fantastic 🤣

Do you think its too late to achieve something when you reach the age 27 to 30's?

I sincerely hope not! I do believe that everyone is on their own timeline and trajectory, and we’ll achieve things in our own time/when the timing is right for us. It can be difficult to not compare sometimes, mostly against ourselves in that we may feel we haven’t achieved much, but it’s never too late for things to change either :)

What's your plan work wise? Stay a barista until what happens?

I haven’t had a chance to yet due to various reasons, but ultimately I want to start properly saving money so I can get an art studio. There’s a few loopholes I need to go through before that happens, but that’s the endgame! I’ll likely still keep a hand in being a barista in terms to supplement my art, or at least until things are a bit more stable. My hours are fairly hench atm as I’m doing well over my contract, but I’m hoping that things will stabilise, so I’d be able to balance the two :)

Have you ever been to a restaurant, coffee shop etc. so often that the staff started to recognize you? If so, tell a bit more! Like, how would they greet you and what did you usually order? 🍕☕

To be honest, for me this is reversed, as I work as a barista! But it’s honestly really lovely when regulars want to get to know you a bit as a person, even if it’s just simply learning your name (we don’t wear name tags). On my end, it’s nice to learn more about the folk that come through, knowing their name, what’s going on in their lives or hobbies they’re interested in. I particularly enjoy chatting to a few creatives that pop in, and they often ask me about my art/ask them about their music or creative pursuits etc, which is really pleasant :)
