so you applied to Ut Austin & you got in? was it hard? what are the requirements?
Yes, I got in but I wasn't accepted in the engineering program. The engineering program is very selective. Anyways, the application is not that hard. I recommend you to keep your grades up, get a good sat score, get involved in extracurricular activities and volunteer service. Some of the requirements are 2 essays (I think), letter of recommendations, resume, and high school transcript.
sorry if I sound like a stalker but I'm a freshmen at HSA & I really want to go to ut Austin so I want to know about college & stuff
Don't worry. That's good! Well if you want some advice, feel free to message me on Facebook. That would be much easier.
why didn't you move out of el Paso?
I really wanted to but I got a good scholarship at UTEP. However, I'm planning on transferring to UT Austin next year or for graduate school.
was the sat hard? did you study? & if you don't mind my asking what was your score?
Personally, it was alright. I only had a hard time on reading & writing. Math was easy for me. It all depends how you manage your time, and guess wisely. Kinda, I bought some books and practiced. So my best advice start practicing, time yourself, and learn new vocabulary. Lol sure, it doesn't matter anymore. I think it was 1520 😅
was utep your first choice?
Actually, it wasn't. I was planning on going to UT Austin, UT Dallas or Texas Tech.
