Pre-law student but i've low confident level in speaking eng. Any tips?
Confidence breeds from mistakes and mistake is the indicator of learning. Do not fear the language, commit as many mistakes as you want and you will get better as you use it frequently regardless of it being spoken or written. I am sure you are a good student, the language is just a tool and just like any tool, it is meant to be used. Not studied from books or memorized.
if u could go back in time and choose between form six, matric and diploma which one would u choose and why
I would choose asasi cuz it was awesome
i really wanted to pursue asasi tesl at my local uni after my spm. but i didn't meet the damn "at least C in Math" requirement...i got an E (l to the o to the l). when i reluctantly enter form 6,muet teacher said i still have a chance by pursuing degree in tesl. i need advice from u plsss
Things to ask before pursuing TESL
1. Is your English good?
2. Do you like teaching?
3. Are you passionate in both?
4. Are you ready for some serious interpersonal fares?
5. MUET does not equate whether you'll fit in.
I know many people who think taking TESL is only about having excellent command in the language, unfortunately they are wrong and it really irks me when in the end they just look down at what they are learning and have no respect over the knowledge.
If you have developed interest in it good, the program is in fact cultivating to your language proficiency but be sure to buckle up as you meet the content courses which may or may not be your cup of tea.
Besides, taking TESL doesnt necessitate you to be in the Education field but it is a waste of time if you come with the thoughts that 'my English is good' and after four years 'only my English seems to improve and nothing else' . Do you catch my drift?
