Delivering unnecessary lectures to everyone who is not even interested and that too without any breaks and regrets lol.

I need to know the difference between functionalism and conflict theory, and how the two perspectives explain crime. Does anybody have an idea?

Well, I don't know the answer to complete question but I have an idea about the difference between these two.

The functionalism theory states that all the contributing components are interdependent and these elements work together in order to achieve stability in a society whereas, the conflict theory is more related to the concept of inequality among different resources which leads to social change.
The expected end product of both theories is 'social change' but the difference exist within the methods which lead to this change.
