Yes because there is a certain point you realize people take advantage of your kindness and if you let that happen then you’re allowing people to use your generosity for their gain and with probably nothing in return.

Being kind is a good thing. However, if you are overly kind, tending to peoples needs and their priorities instead of your own, it becomes fawning. This is a co-dependent behaviour that seeks validation. Be sure you understand the difference. #Michaeldadson #Langley #counsellor
