Hello! I was wondering, how many translators is your team made of? And how long have you been studying korean? You guys do an incredibly good job. Thank you for all the subs, we are really greatful ~

Our team currently has 13 active Korean-English translators (some only translate V LIVE videos). Most of our Korean-English translators are Koreans living abroad! Only 3-4 are not Korean and the length of our Korean studies vary, although I can definitely say over 2 years!

my question is not sub-related but i don't know who else to ask. do you know how can fans go to bts events that are not concerts? like isac for example. Does it have anything to do with the fancafe and the fact that some members are more advanced or there are normal tickets that everyone can buy?

For most events that BTS attend, there will be notices posted on the fancafe that Bighit also tweets about on their official account (twitter.com/bts_bighit) . Also most of the time, priority is given to members of the official ARMY fanclub. Hopefully that answers your question!

Hi, can you please help me to translate the latest BTS level up questions? I tried very hard to understand them vies translator but still can't answer them. I hope you can help me to answer the questions correctly. :(

Can you guys sub the episodes of BTS bokbulbok episodes, there's only English for episode 1 right now

We are currently working on the translations for episodes 2, 3 and 5. Check out our v app progress log for further updates on those videos: bts-trans.tumblr.com/log
As for episode 4, we've added it to our request list!

Why i can't watch your subs in v app? There is no option for your subs 😕

We haven't worked on all the videos so maybe you've watched a video where we haven't subbed it.
On the app, it shows 2 "English" options and the one that starts with "Translated by Bangtansubs" are subs by us. V app is working to fix this problem on the app so we ask for your patience~
On desktop, you can find our subs in the "English - Fan" option! Once again, only videos that start with "Translated by Bangtansubs" are subs by us. We tweet all the videos that we sub on V app so if you follow our Twitter you will be updated. Hopefully that helped!

We do not have access to vlive+ videos as of now so unfortunately no.

not to be rude but why wouldnt you accept ppl who are applying as translators, since you guys do have a lot of work and im sure extra help is needed and you would be able to bring out subs quicker? im just wondering..

We accept a selection of people who we believe provide accurate and detailed translations. Our application process is very thorough and we have a high standard so we cannot accept someone who isn't confident in translating from Korean to English accurately. We are thinking of opening up applications again soon however that is still in discussion as we would need some of our staff to be available to check applicants' translations. Hopefully that makes sense~ We appreciate your concern but we will try our very best with the staffs we have right now ^^
