if u mean chromosomes then i'm really thankful for them especially the x chromosome from my dad that made me the strong independent woman i am today but i'm not thankful that it gave me menstruation
Blue is the coolness on your skin as the calm sea water brushes against your feet. Yellow pulls up at the corners of your mouth, it is the warmth of sunlight on your face when you look up at the sky. Gray is the opposite, dragging you down. It is the middle, all the times you were stuck between all the noise of everyone and everything around you. Green is the tightness in your chest when you think about how all your siblings have seen your mother, have memorized the contours of her face and the curve of her smile.People think that black is all you've known and they ask you how it's like. White drips from your words when you tell them it's difficult even though it's really not. You know what red is too; she is by your side when you go to sleep and when you wake up. You hold her by the wrist and you can feel her heart beat red through your fingertips. She kisses you hard and you smile against her lips. You know that you don't need sight to tell her you love her.
it's definitely nothing to laugh/joke about. just imagine being so depressed/lost/empty that u feel the need to hurt yourself to feel something. i read a quote once: "The worst thing about falling to pieces is that humans can do it so quietly." it's tru and i think that cutting is a silent plea for help. people should be more sensitive about this subject and to the people who do it.
Why are you thankful to have the teachers & staff (TDEVS, guards, clinic personnel)?
thankful for the TDEVS who clean up the trash us lazy students leave, thankful for the guards for keeping us safe and calling our names 10x when we have 2 go, and thankful for the clinic personal for letting me go home when im sick
thoughts on chris evans and jeremy renner's answer about black widow?
im not gonna defend what they did tbh. like, i get that they were just joking & chris even apologized (jeremy renner more like... just gave a statement bc he had to) but it sucks that people (especially celebrities we look up to) still arent aware enough to know that misogynistic comments are //wrong// even if they mean no harm. it's even worse bc black widow's is the only female lead in an industry dominated by white men
Would legalizing marijuana be a good thing or bad thing?
good question omg YES IT SHOULD BC 1) the more people tend to do things if they know it's prohibited 2) marijuana can be used for medical purposes 3) if it were legal, like in germany (i think??) the intake of drugs could be monitored, therefore preventing people from overdosing like they normally do when they take it independently. ja feel???
