Can i be fairly honest with you here? I highly doubt it has to do with him being the younger one. The only way I can see that affecting his activities is because he was still physically growing and even though ~maknaes~ are usually the cute ones in the group, with Sehun it has never been like that. SM tried to push that concept on him but it hasn't exactly worked out since he turned into a male god and all that yada yada
He gets opportunities, just not as "memorable" as some of the other members, but let's be real here; the only ones getting fair promotions are the vocal line. And precisely because they are the vocal line. Chanyeol's situation is a bit different but he's always had that thing for variety so it's not surprising, and Kyungsoo jumping into acting may be because he's actually decent at it. Not giving Luhan something in China would be plain dumb.
The area where I can see Sehun actually shining is modeling. He's born for that, I'm telling you and I've been saying it for two years, and he is actually getting some jobs in that area. He's going to be along with Jongin in GRAZIA Magazine's next issue (5 Aug), if I'm not mistaken. He's also had dancing solos at the concerts and he's /the one/ who dances with BoA every time. You can't expect him to star in a musical or to record an OST, and another dance unit wouldn't be profitable for the company, which is why Jongin is also a bit on hold right now.
With Minseok that's a whole other story and I have my own weird theories about him and his way of working, but those are /whispers/ confidential. He has had activities, but not many, so I agree.. somehow.

Hmm.. first one that came to mind was Kyungsoo. I'm sure chinaline too, but i'm just mentioning them specifically because they have been a bit more expressive.
Doesn't mean other members haven't been there, but to be honest, I can see B looking more for his peasant friends' (lol) support than from anyone in the group. Not really sure why I feel this way, though.
