نہ رات ڈھلی نہ سویرا ہے
بس ہر سو شام غریباں ہے
جہاں ہر سو ڈر بدنامی کا
پر غیرت کی نہ جھلک دکھتی
جہاں علم تو قریہ قریہ ہے
پر نہ کہیں اخلاق دکھے
جہاں ہر سو چمکتی روشنی ہے
پر دل میں گھپ اندھیرا ہے
ہر شخص جہاں پر مفتی ہے
جہاں نام نہاد مسلمان ہیں
جہاں غیرت بیچی جاتی ہے
جہاں عزت لوٹی جاتی ہے
زندوں کے بارے میں کیا لکھوں
مجھے مردے بھی پریشان ملے
میں کھوج میں نکلا انسانون کی
من و مٹی تلے آثار ملے!!!
