The thing is..I cut myself, quite a bit actually, and everyone knows. I have cuts all down my wrists, and people can see when I'm at school. I get called 'emo' all the time. Not many people know why I cut, it's a long emotional story, that I only tell people I can really trust. I told one girl...I t
okay, so I have had a cutting question on tumblr and here is some potential solutions, the first bit doesn't really make sense but it basically said.. first of all, collect all the things you cut with put them on a black bag, and chuck them or put them in a lockable box and chuck them, this first of all can refrain you from cutting in the future.. if you're thinking 'but kitchen knives', think about it, you've cut yourself with a butching knife, and your parent it trying to find it, yes washing it may get most of the blood of but there could still be traces, then obviously your parent will use it, sounds grim I know but hopefully that will make you think!
okay the top bit did say, that maybe you could get a little diary, decorate it to your liking and then whenever you feel like cutting get it out and write a happy memory, or you could write tons in there when your feeling happy and whenever you feel like cutting just look at it..
Idk if this is a good idea but it popped into my head, write down the thing that gets you upset and re*write the sentence but change every negative thing or person into either the opposite or something stupid so that your finished sentence sounds like something from a rowntrees randoms advert.. then maybe doodle around it, burn it? or stick it on your wall and read it every day to make you laugh? idk random idea!
what does the last part mean? the.. l..t?
writing down your problem and burning the piece of paper in a precious and significant place helps for some people!
for your scars, something like bio oil begins to fade them? also don't cover them up in the sun (I know we don't get much anymore) as it helps fade your scars!
ignore anybody who calls you an emo because they clearly haven't matured, as that is a very childlike stereotype!
idk what else to say apart from yhe fact that, I am always here for advice, on anything and it sometimes it's better to talk than to cut, if ever you wanted to talk at all text or ring me, if you rang me I wont say a word ill listen:)
just hang on in there, look to the postive side of things and smile :) xx
