By roasts I mean going on social media and making fun of certain students and teachers on their appearance or private lives
People think it's ~~edgy and cool~~ to insult teachers and students for no reason and it's really toxic and horrible and I've seen people crying in the nurses office BC of people saying horrible shit about them on social media. Reporting them doesn't always help (they don't really care (but don't let that stop you)) and I'll be honest, I have no idea what to do in those situations. We can't really tell them to stop, maybe point out that they're acting childish and being kinda fucking rude. This is a real problem that people are being affected by and I hope that they grow up and realize how shitty they were and try to make up for it.
Unfortunately, a lot of people feel that these roasts are funny, and if someone tries and puts a stop to them, they're "ruining the fun?" What advice do you have for both parties (the people saying these "roasts" and the people reporting them)
Could you elaborate on roasts a lil bit? I'm gonna answer I just wanna know which sense you're using it in.
What do you think about people who say "everyone just too soft these days" in response to bullying issues? How do you feel about this whole pedestal for people who "roast?"
I think they need to get off their high-horse tbh. Treating people like shit isn't something you should be rewarded for and they're mad BC it's not as easy to get away with anymore.
i'd say a fedora, but the stack on my coat rack would say otherwise. (most likely crocs, or those alligator shoes that make ur feet look like mr.krabs' claws)
