clyw isn't really much Canadian anymore. Machined in the us (not anything against one drop) assembled and shipped from Steve Brown in Ohio. Damas and bearings from China. I'd like to see clyw go onedrop and source everything locally. And bring back Chris and Charles!
I'd love that too, but I nearly had a breakdown with how much I was working before. Constant 12-14 hour days. Just wasn't an option anymore with 2 kids now. Although I seem to be working a lot again. Anyways I had to pick: sink the ship or get help from my friends. - Chris
Not sure if I remember correctly but it's hard to forget. I remember back in AP2010 when Ryosuke was still in clyw, he brought around a yoyo that was a solid color with "raw" splash. I used to think the elusiveness of that was out of this world. Would you be willing to try something like that again?
Doing that is crazy hard, with a high fail rate. Plus, the raw portion is potentially subject to oxidation and tarnishing since it's not protected by anything. Sure is pretty, though. Hrm....
Why does my FG AC2 only spin long with the stock flat bearing? I don't like how the string moves around and rubs on the response but I only get good spin time with it. I put my best CTX in my FG and in my 1st run AC2s and threw normally, and the FG lost momentum a lot quicker...
Might be something wrong with your CTX? Might be the way you assemble it? Might be that the reason the return top was Fools Gold was too much ano build up on the bearing seat? Might be a problem with the bearing seat tolerances? Might just be an awesome flat bearing?
can you guys make some solid colour way Chiefs in the upcoming release?
Maybe! Our anodizer has had some trouble with solids lately though...they're tricker than you think!
Chuck i love your edit too dope also what was that orange dama you were using in the edit?
Thanks man! That's a kendama from Sweets
Charles, you seemed to use a lot of non traditional holds in your edit why is this? Also what are some of your favorite styles for dama tricks?
I really don't know what traditional vs non traditional is. I just play with my toy in the way that is fun to me. I wish I knew what you meant with favourite styles for dama tricks, but I honestly don't. I like gunslingers if thats one thing! haha
